New York state attorney Norman Ingber is the founder of the Law Office of Norman Ingber & Associates, where he represents individuals throughout the Hudson Valley and Catskill regions of New York who have been injured in automobile accidents or other cases of personal injury, including medical malpractice, slip and falls, wrongful death, and birth injuries.
Experience and Education
Although personal injury cases are his sole focus now, Mr. Ingber also has extensive experience in the areas of business and consumer bankruptcies, as well as criminal matters. He also possesses experience as general counsel for several corporations.
Mr. Ingber brings over 50 years of legal experience to his practice, including experience as trial counsel for a major insurance company. This experience and perspective enhances his ability to help his clients achieve satisfactory results and receive fair compensation for their injuries, and typically without the need to go to trial and usually within one year of the date of accident.
Mr. Ingber obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pace University and earned his law degree from New York Law School. He also attended the Ferkauf Graduate School of Yeshiva University and the New School for Social Research, as well as the Alfred Adler Institute. He also received an award after receiving the highest grade in his civil practice and procedure course.
A former New York City school teacher, Mr. Ingber has given back to the community in part by serving on planning boards of the City of New York as well as serving on the board of trustees of the Alfred Adler Institute, a training institute for mental health professionals who treated patients regardless of their ability to pay. Mr. Ingber also served as a volunteer arbitrator in the civil courts of New York City.
Mr. Ingber is a member of the New York Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the Orange County Bar Associations and the New York State Bar Association.
